The words dynamic and powerhouse are synonymous with Lorean Cairns; the Co-Founder and CEO of Fox and Jane Salon Group, Skin Habit, and Little Lion Salon. Her projects employ over 150 members in three different states as well as internationally, with her latest location opening in Toronto, Canada.
With nearly a decade of entrepreneurial and leadership experience, Lorean can honestly say that the secret to her success is deeply rooted in establishing a company culture before all else. From the moment you join the Fox and Jane team, you quickly understand that to be a “fox” is more than just a job - it's a way of life.
After mastering the salon world from behind the chair, Lorean found her passion for uplifting the hair industry through her empowering message and culture philosophy in education.

LOREAN'S JOURNEY
After graduating from Aveda Institute and making a name for herself in Denver, CO., Lorean propelled her career to the US capital of all things style and fashion: New York City! Once becoming one of this fast paced city’s most in demand hair artists, Cairns was ready to turn her passion into something much bigger and unlike anything else.
Teaming up with her best friend and business guru, Billy Canu, Lorean opened the doors to the very first Fox and Jane location in 2011. It is through hard work, dedication, and her natural affinity for leadership that Lorean was able to create an empire based on her unique vision for cultural development.
Now, seven years later and with eight salons under her belt across international borders
Fox and Jane is recognized as a top salon brand and a hub that creates #greathairforall.
In 2019, Lorean broke International borders with the expansion of a Canadian based Fox & Jane location. It was through this location that she teamed up with the founder of The Dress Code Project, a global alliance of salons and barbershops committed to providing positive, gender-affirming services for the LGBTQ2S+ community.

Proving to be a big year, Lorean released her first book, Culture Fox, in 2019 which delves into her belief that success is based on cultivating a lasting company culture with a strong focus on education, growth, and coaching.
